Great location and excellent upkeep

The location was perfect - close to the MRT station and the "action" parts of the city, yet in quieter parts. We did not realise the hotel is in the Japanese neighbourhood which worked out well, esp for food options. The staff is exceptional in their efficiency and housekeeping.

The wi-fi connectivity in the room was very poor. That became a major issue. The breakfast options were very limited and not of good quality. That could be improved.

Great location for those who like to walk around and experience the local life

Great location! We walked to the Ningxia night Market the first night, and walked to the Zhongshan station to take the subway to the Raohe Street night Market the following night. Very good food at both markets at really cheap price. It is also within walking distance to the taipei train station, where we took the train to jiufen and shifen. We also walked to the Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall (great cultural experience), and the ximending shopping district. The breakfast was decent. The heated toilet seat and the shower system were something I would definitely miss :)

They did not provide currency exchange for Canadian dollars.

Wonderful

Location was great. A few minutes walk from Taipei Main Station. Many restaurants and convenience stores around the hotel. Staff was helpful and provided us with tea and water when requested. Bathroom was spacious. Bedroom is ok but met our needs. They were able to extend our stay by 2 days due to an incoming typhoon. Highly recommended!

Nothing really. One night, we heard next door neighbours but they were yelling so that was an exception to our otherwise quiet stay.

One of the best we’ve stayed at recently

The room is very well equipped with even a wireless phone charger and a sound bar connected to a TV with some ready-to-watch movies. The room is clean and spacious. The toilet has a bidet that warms the seat. The staff is extremely helpful. They always respond very quickly whenever we need anything. I asked the front desk about a travel destination and she immediately called the place to help me check. Felt very taken care of while staying here. The hotel is between Taipei main station and Zhongshan station with quite some good food and cafe options nearby. 10-15 mins nice walk to either station.

The pillow was a bit too high for me, but it was just personal preference and I did not request a change anyway. It’d be great if they provided more hangers in the room.

I am quite happy with the overall experience of staying here.

The location is convenient. The room is nicely air-conditioned and the bathroom is of adequate size. The bed and pillow are fairly comfortable.

The balcony is not of much use as it is facing the corridors of other rooms.
